Overview
C65500 is a high-strength silicon bronze with excellent corrosion resistance — comparable to copper — combined with the strength of mild steel. It is the premier alloy for marine hardware, fasteners, and architectural applications. C655 contains approximately 3% silicon and 1% manganese, giving it 97 ksi tensile strength (cold-worked), outstanding weldability, and a beautiful golden appearance that weathers naturally.
