C61400
C61400 is a wrought aluminum bronze containing approximately 7% aluminum. It offers good strength (up to 76 ksi tensile), excellent corrosion resistance (especially to seawater, dilute sulfuric acid, and other corrosive media), and good wear resistance. C614 is an economical alternative to nickel aluminum bronze for applications not requiring the highest strength. It is commonly used for condenser tube sheets, bolts, marine hardware, and chemical processing equipment.
