C36000
C360 is the benchmark for machinability in copper alloys, rated at 100% on the machinability scale. The addition of ~3% lead creates microscopic lubricating particles that provide excellent chip breakage and tool life during high-speed screw machine operations. It combines good strength, corrosion resistance, and an attractive golden finish. C360 is the most widely specified brass for precision machined components.
