Aluminum 1145 – Foil & Insulation Grade Coil

    1145-H19 / 1145-O

    Overview

Aluminum 1145 is a high-purity aluminum alloy (99.45% min Al) primarily used in foil and thin gauge coil applications. Its high purity gives it superior electrical conductivity (~59% IACS) and excellent surface quality for foil production. 1145 is the standard alloy for household foil, capacitor foil, insulation jacketing, and thin-gauge coil stock for stamping and laminating applications.
